Pregnancy is such a beautiful time in a woman’s life. At the time it can seem to drag on forever as you anticipate the arrival of your new little one, but in hindsight it’s such a short time in your life compared to the wonderful (and fast) years that lie ahead. Maternity shoots are a fun way to capture the fleeting time of pregnancy and document it before you are thrust into a whole new life of sleepless nights, loads of laundry, and endless diaper changes.

Some people choose to do maternity sessions in studio, some go with photos in nature, and some ladies choose both! Tanya was one of my clients who chose to do a little bit of both… Oh, and did I mention the outdoor shots were taken at a CASTLE?! It was amazing! We started with an indoor maternity boudoir session, and a peek into an elegant room. Tanya wore a Baby In Vogue couture robe that really accentuated her gorgeous bump, and she radiated beauty in the soft gold, white, and blush tones of the simple yet regal room. We then took a mini road trip to a Texas castle where she beamed like royalty in her Mii-estilo custom gown. Her session was truly so much fun, and she was absolutely stunning. It was definitely a day fit for a queen, and of course, her princess coming soon!
