Becoming a mother is one of the most amazing experiences in the world. Getting there, however, isn’t always an easy road. Some women struggle with fertility issues. Some face every obstacle. And some have a really tough and uncomfortable pregnancy. There is a wide variation of setbacks and symptoms to accompany you on the journey, and the end result is always worth it. But in the meantime, it’s nice to know we aren’t alone.

Ela had a pretty rough pregnancy and the idea of doing maternity photos wasn’t really appealing to her. I’m glad she made the effort, though, because this mama is truly an inspiration and she totally rocked her session! Once she put on the first gown, it was effortless and we had a blast creating a maternity montage just like in the movies. Every gown looked stunning on her, and she completed each look with a matching lip color from her suitcase full of Younique products.

She is truly an amazing woman with such talent in so many areas. Even though her pregnancy journey hasn’t been easy, I hope she looks back on these photos one day and knows she is strong and resilient for making it through. I know her little princess will have an awesome role model to look up to, and my prayer is that she is just as inspirational and amazing as her mama!
