I remember chatting with Angela in the wee hours of the night planning her perfect Houston Maternity Session. We bounced around ideas for gowns and locations and of course accessories. And as with all Cherish This Photography Houston Maternity sessions, Angela got to adorn her sun filled session with her choice from 50 amazing maternity gowns. Her first choice is a maroon off shoulder fitted gown that really shows off her bump. The train gives it a touch of class and elegance. Stan was in between shifts so he only joined us for the first half/dress of the session. Once he left, Angela surprised him with a vintage lace gown that really has a sort of boho feel. Topped with a stunning floral crown, she embodied a Mother Earth look and totally nailed it! Again, Stan had no idea about this dress so when we met for their order appointment to pick photos and products, he was smitten! The look on his face was PRICELESS! And now, with their Signature Album, they have 35 amazing portraits of their time together, celebrating the coming of their little bundle of joy!

So for all you photog gear junkies, let me mention that this was one of my very first sessions with MY newest baby, the Canon 200mm f2!! It took some time for Mindy and I to get to know each other, but I was able to bring her out for just a few shots here and boy was I blown away!!! Mindy is soooo bokeh-licious (So now that Fergilicious song is stuck in my head!)!!!!
