Houston Quinceañera Photographer | Valerie

I had such a great time with these strong and fun women! Valerie, her mom Karen and I spent time in Downtown Houston taking pictures of Valerie in her beautiful Quinceañera dress in preparation for her upcoming fifteenth birthday. Valerie is full of confidence and grace, which I know in part comes passed down from her mom Karen. Karen did a boudoir session with me earlier, so I’ve gotten the chance to work with these wonderful women in the past as well.

Karen’s confidence and elegance is something that has rubbed off on Valerie, which I could see as they had a lot of fun together during the session. I love seeing Valerie so excited about the celebration of her entrance into womanhood. Their family will be celebrating her Quinceañera with a family trip to Paris! I’d be excited too if I were her, and will be happy to offer my photography skills if I get to tag along! In fact, if anyone is going on an exotic trip and would like to have a personal paparazzi entourage, I’m sure we can work something out.

About this Quinceañera Session

Valerie chose a beautiful light pink dress with a detachable train. This dress made for a lot of fun pictures along the downtown streets. While we were walking around we found Macarons by Patisse, a delicious French macaron shop. You can see Valerie enjoying a few of her colorful red, green and cream macarons outside of the shop. Don’t these little treats just seem to transport her to the bustling streets of Paris, rather than downtown Houston? I think you can see in her eyes her excitement to eat some of these delicious pastries in Paris when they travel there later this summer.
