Shabby Chic Cake Smash Photographer in Houston | Karolyna

Karolyna’s first birthday session was a dream. All things girl, frilly, and pink, this girl was so sweet. It was a delight to capture her expressions and delightful nature on camera.

When mom, Karina, contacted me to schedule her baby girl’s first birthday pictures, I just about dropped my phone. I could not believe time had flown by so fast! It seems like just yesterday we were planning the maternity and newborn sessions—or even photos for last Christmas. It’s a sweet benefit of my role as a child photographer that I get to watch as clients grow their families, as parents settle into their roles of mom and dad, and as little ones grow into their personalities and preferences. Time really does fly. I love getting to freeze a few moments of it.

Sweet Cheeks and Tiny Toes

Karolyna’s cheeks were to die for. I could seriously squish them all day long. Karina wanted a simple and elegant look for this session, with a side shabby chic. Karolyna’s perfect Dollcake dress, complemented by her cute curls and chubby cheeks gave these images a sassy, timeless, and elegant air—perfect for Karolyna’s similar personality. She even ate her cake like a little lady!

The photos of Karolyna in her sweet, white lace dress are precious memories for years to come. Can’t you just imagine one of these framed next to her bridal portrait at her wedding reception someday?

Houston Boudoir Pinup Photographer | Minute Maid Park Boudoir Session

This is the second opportunity I had to work with the beautiful Maria as her Houston Boudoir Pinup Photographer.  When we met before, Maria and I worked to create a very classic sultry look with classic black lingerie in my studio. And a stunning beaded top at the beach making her look like a sensuous mermaid on land.  You can view our first session here.

Maria has such a fun and lively spirit. I was so excited to help her create a pin-up session at Houston’s very own Minute Maid Park. Maria was ready to take the field in her retro satin baseball jacket, a sport top that showed off her curves, and cute knee socks. I think they added the perfect touch to the look we were trying to create.

A Home Run

Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston was designed through influence of the surrounding neighborhood. Including the 1911 vintage Union Station.  I was thrilled to be able to incorporate some of these nostalgic touches. Such as the vintage Phillips 66 fuel pump, as you can see here in our session.

This session was a little out of my traditional repertoire of fine art and high fashion photography. But having so much fun this afternoon with Maria and seeing her confidence shine and her eyes sparkle as we captured her bombshell personality in those sexy curly side pony-tails, makes me want to re-create more classic pin-up boudoir scenes in the Houston area.

Houston Newborn Photographer | Sweet Baby Bear

This beautiful family was so enjoyable to work with.  I had a great time as their Houston Newborn Photographer.  This little boy was an absolute pleasure to capture.  He was really easy going and the entire family was excited to be a part of the session.

Welcome Sweet Boy!

He joins two thrilled big sisters and extremely loving parents.  Everyone is elated to have a little boy in the house, and what a cutie!  In the images with mom and dad, you can see the love radiating toward him in every image.  The love they share for one another and their children is a beautiful thing to witness.

The images of mom and baby are stunning.  The relationship of mother and son is so unique and beautiful.  The little smile he has as mom snuggles him in close is touching. While dad’s heart is filled with love for his girls, he is thrilled to have another man in the house!

This little bundle of joy is precious in the different bear ear hats, snuggled up with the tiny teddy bears.  He has the most peaceful face and so much hair. So handsome! The close ups of his tiny features turned out really beautifully.  He is a truly handsome little man and fits right into this beautiful family.

Houston Family Sunset Maternity Photographer | Cynthia

There was nothing that went according to plan for Cynthia’s maternity session.  We met at her location of choice only to be greeted by a rainstorm that no one saw coming! Such is life! Regardless, she looked absolutely stunning and I knew how much she had her heart set on some outdoor images.

With the sun setting and knowing how important outdoor images were to Cynthia, we headed across town to Friendswood to catch the last bit of an amazing sunset.  Anyone who has ever lived in Texas knows that it could be raining cats and dogs in your front yard and your backyard my never see a drop.  Lucky for us we were able to find a dry spot and catch the last bit of golden hour for some beautiful sunset family photos.  The colors behind the family are simply breathtaking.

A Gorgeous Baby Bump

We finished her session off with a couple of in studio looks.  She is so confident in her images.  You can tell she is embracing this pregnancy and the entire family is excited to welcome this new baby bundle of joy.  The last mocha dress from Sew Trendy Accessories was a new maternity gown I had just received. I knew the color would be breathtaking on her!  So, we snapped a few, just because.

Even though this session did not go as planned, the images are gorgeous. Cynthia is ecstatic to have them in her champagne gold covered album.

Houston Boudoir Photographer | Sultry Boudoir Session

This lovely lady came ready to bring sexy back.  She had the look and poses down to a T for her Sexy Houston Boudoir Session.  She came ready to entice her man with some Lingerie for His Eyes and the outfit she wore was hot.  He is in for a treat.  This lady is stunning and sultry and was not afraid to show off her curves.

Being the photographer for this session was a blast.  She really knew how to work the camera.  She brought such intensity to her eyes and face, and was not afraid to try different poses and angles or backdrops.  We were able to get full body images, close ups, leg shots and more.  I love the way she used the bed; laying down, sitting, or kneeling.

The nude body suit with the lace overlay, coupled with the thigh highs and heels was steamy.  I cannot imagine her man being able to resist.   She had the come hither look down and seemed to be daring her partner with her eyes.

This was definitely a sexy session.  I love the images we were able to capture and had a great time as the Houston Photographer of this Sexy Boudoir Session.
